Asset Enhancement

Keeping a close eye on market developments and the changing needs of our customers, we are constantly reviewing the relevance of each property in the portfolio. Properties with untapped potential or older specifications will be revitalised through asset enhancement or redevelopment initiatives.

The redevelopment of Mapletree Benoi Logistics Hub in Singapore is a fine example that demonstrates our ability to add greater value to MLT’s existing assets. This project saw the transformation of six blocks of single-storey warehouses into a modern, five-storey green ramp-up logistics facility. With the four-fold increase in gross floor area to 92,500 square metres, the new facility offers sizeable contiguous floor plates to accommodate the varying space requirements of logistics players.

Other notable initiatives include a new redevelopment project at Mapletree Logistics Hub - Toh Guan in Singapore, an additional four-storey warehouse at Moriya Centre in Japan, as well as the installation of rooftop solar energy panels at nine properties in Japan to reduce energy consumption.
