MapletreeLog, the first Asian-focused REIT, made its debut on the main board of the Singapore Exchange on 28 July 2005 under the Property sector. Our public offer of 357.4 million shares at S$0.68 per unit was 43.88x oversubscribed. MapletreeLog has also been included as one of the constituent stocks of the GPR 250 Index and GPR 250 REIT Index with effect from 1 October 2006. The GPR 250 Index is a free float weighted index that tracks the performance of the 250 most liquid property companies worldwide while the GPR 250 REIT Index is a subset of the GPR 250 Index.
Our current portfolio of 84 properties in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Japan and South Korea with a total lettable area of around 2.2 million sqm, is valued at over S$3 billion as at 31 March 2010. We aim to provide stable distributions to our unit holders from income generated by this portfolio.
