Mr. Tan Ngiap Joo was appointed to the Board as an Independent Director on 15 June 2009. He is also the Chairman of the Audit Risk Committee of the Manager.
He was the Deputy President of OCBC Bank Singapore and before that held many other senior positions in the banking and finance sector including General Manager, OCBC Bank, Australia Branch; Chairman, Bleakeys Limited Australia; and Chief Executive Officer, Bank of Singapore (Australia) Limited.
Mr. Tan is the Chairman and Director of Banking Computer Services Private Limited and an Independent Director of BCS Information Systems Pte Ltd, and sits on the Board of The British And Malayan Trustees Limited. Mr. Tan is also an Independent Director of a few public listed companies.
Mr. Tan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Australia.
