Ms Nupur Joshi joined Mapletree in 2006 from Deloitte & Touche LLP in San Jose, California where, as an auditor, she was involved in a number of financial statement audits as well as audits on the internal controls of public companies.
Before joining Deloitte & Touche, Ms Joshi had worked with Kotak Mahindra Capital Company in Mumbai, India as an economist and fixed income analyst. She had also previously spent 3 years in Mumbai as an economist with Jardine Fleming India Broking Pvt. Ltd., where her responsibilities included monitoring the Indian economy, forecasting key macroeconomic variables and communicating to domestic and international investors about the investment climate in India.
Ms Joshi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Mumbai, India, and a Master of Arts degree in Economic Development and International Trade from the University of Reading, England. Ms Joshi is a Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy, USA. She also holds the professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute, USA.
