Mr Ng Quek Peng is a Director and a Member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Manager. He is currently the Head of South East Asian Region of GMR International, a global infrastructure development company.
Mr Ng has been in the financial industry since 1981, principally as a corporate financier. He has worked in the corporate finance and securities industry in Singapore and Malaysia, advising clients on corporate restructuring and fund raising matters.
Mr Ng has held various positions in foreign and local financial institutions during his career, including Director of Citicorp Investment Bank (Singapore) Ltd, Managing Director of OCBC Securities Pte. Ltd., Executive Vice President of OCBC Bank and Client Coverage Head for Singapore of ABN Amro Bank. He was Chief Representative, China for Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited until 31 January 2009.
He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of London and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
