Mr Hiew Yoon Khong is a Director of the Manager and is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Sponsor as well as Senior Managing Director, Special Projects of Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited.
Prior to joining Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd, Mr Hiew joined Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited as Managing Director, responsible for Private Equity Funds Investment. From 1996 to 2003, Mr Hiew held various senior positions in the CapitaLand group of companies, including group Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer of CapitaLand Commercial Ltd and CapitaLand Financial Ltd. While at CapitaLand, Mr Hiew was responsible for launching Singapore's first real estate investment trust, CapitaMall Trust. Prior to joining CapitaLand, Mr Hiew held various positions in the areas of corporate finance, management consultancy and project financing over a ten-year period.
He holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Warwick as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Portsmouth.
Mr Hiew is also appointed to the Board of Trustees of the National University of Singapore. In addition, he is a Director of Changi Airport International and Sentosa Development Corporation.
